Loofah Face Sponge
Loofah is a 100% natural product obtained from the inside of a ripe loofah plant. After the plant blooms, the flower develops into a long, gourdlike plant that resembles a giant cucumber or zucchini. The gourds are then harvested and can be left to dry out for up to six months. Dried gourds are soaked in water, peeled, and their seeds are removed. Once completely dry, they can be sliced, cut, or shaped in a variety of ways before they’re sold as sponges.
These sustainable pads can be used to store your soap on (acting like a soap dish) - stopping soap from slipping away and helping your products last longer.
They're also great for doubling up as a washing scrubber for pots and wine glasses - reducing artificial plastic sponges going to landfill.
